Denise Houriet
Owner & Director

Denise is a graduate of West Chester University has been teaching fitness since 1989 in group formats as well as individual instruction. She is a graduate of the teacher training program at the world renowned Pilates Center, Boulder, CO and a graduate of teacher training program at Body Precision Pilates Studio, Rosemont, PA. The combination of both of these programs exceed 1700 hours of apprenticeship.

Her academic pursuit of anatomy and movement has lead her to study with Eric Franklin and Morten Dithmer of The Franklin Method®. She is currently a Level III Educator for The Franklin Method®.

Denise has also spent 4 1/2 years under the tutelage of Pilates Elder & Master Teacher Kathleen Stanford Grant. Ms. Grant is 1 of only 2 teachers that were certified by Joseph Pilates.

Denise has worked with students of all ages and fitness levels, from beginner exerciser to competitive athlete, creating safe, appropriate and effective sessions. She truly enjoys her work and believes that every body has its own perfection and potential.
